WHAT: 2010 Dinghy Races at CCYC with Burgers and Dogs on the Beach

WHEN: August 14th, 9:00 A.M.

WHERE: China Beach

BRING: Swim Attire, Something to Drink, A side dish or desert, and a dinghy if you have one.

ABOUT

Who has the fastest dinghy? We will find out with the races beginning at 10:00. Come root for the racers or heckle others if you prefer. Get pictures of the start. Help run the races. Lunch will be around 11:30 on the docks. Dinghy finals after lunch. The club is providing hotdogs and hamburgers.

RACE MANAGEMENT:
All members and guests with sailing tenders less than 15.5 ft will be Team Leaders.
All Team Leaders to approve race committee chairperson to be selected Saturday morning.
By luck of the draw each TL will draft in turn Team Members from pool of attendees.
TMs must be 13 years old unless approved by RC chair.
At least one female on each team.
Depending on various factors of turnout, racing boats, weather and whatever as determined by RC Chair each team member will sail the TL racing dinghy in a separate fleet to accumulate points by finish. Top three dinghy teams will race in finals for 2010 Trophy.
Decision of the RC Chair in case of confusion or dispute is final.
